MiddleCoastBias Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 I feel like the black alternates are used more often early in the season because it's cold outside and the black jerseys hold the heat better. Come July, I definitely notice the use of the black jerseys tapers off as it's often too hot for those. Could be a hogwash observation but I'm sticking to it.
