justBLAZE
Opening Day lineup if you exchange Vizquel with Teahen.
BFirebird
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 01:24 PM) Opening Day lineup if you exchange Vizquel with Teahen. Hopefully so. Hopefully Ozzie has taken some common sense pills and realized Kotsay is NOT a 3 hole hitter. He is not really a 5 hole hitter either, but it could be worse. Ideally, if Teahen is right I would have him bat 5, Rios 6, Kotsay 7 or 8, AJ 7 or 8 and then Alexei 9. But Ozzie's fascination with L/R/L/R could kill the lineup. JoeBatterz
I like that lineup.
justBLAZE
I've been reading that since Westbrook is pitching that means Kotsay will be in the lineup, assuming DH hitting 5th or 6th. I have my money on Carlos hitting third.

Balta1701
QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) What's up with PK? Not sure, but he's out and was a late enough scratch that they just moved everyone else up 1 spot in the lineup and put Gallagher (I think) in at 1b. Harry Chappas
QUOTE (Real @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 03:17 PM) garcia pitching again? why isnt peavy pitching? this is becoming odd Indians would face him again next Wednesday. SoxAce
QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) Kotsay has been good this spring and I think he'll be a solid part of the team, but 5hole? Balta1701
QUOTE (kwolf68 @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 04:24 PM) Kotsay has been good this spring and I think he'll be a solid part of the team, but 5hole? The issue is, especially against RHP...the entire "heart of our order" is right handed. Becksy, Q, Konerko, Rios. The guys who are LH aren't high OPS guys unless Teahen pulls something off. Kotsay sort of falls into that spot so we don't have 4-5 RH batters in a row.
