SoxFan1
QUOTE (TheHolyBovine @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:42 PM) Yeah, flukes are nice. Agreed. 90 wins the following season was brutal. And a division championship 2 years after that. Horrible. Are you even a fan of this f***ing team?
Dick Allen
At least Freddy and Linebrink pitched well and can build on it. I still am trying to figure out what Rios was thinking when he was doubled up earlier in the game, but its no secret the Sox are at least one bat short. chw42
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:42 PM) Who needs Nathan with CY Rauch!!!!!!!!!!!! Rauch is going to get his ass kicked. We've nearly tied the game off him twice now. If we didn't have such bad luck and such a bad offense, he would have blown at least one of these saves. greg775
Nice job, White Sox. Win the opener and look like world beaters and you are 1-4 in your own division, arguably the worst division, all the gaes at home. Wow.

maggsmaggs
It's also bad that the slow start likely will mean less walk-up crowds, which gives the Sox less money to add a player. With any other offense we are probably 4-1 right now.
Soxfest
QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:43 PM) We deserve everything we get. Thanks KW for putting together this trash team. KW is all knowing Mr.Smugass NEVER question him!
T R U
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 01:42 PM) I'm sorry. You can sugar coat it all you want, say "Well its early" or "Its still cold, wait until it warms up"...but the fact remains, this is one of the most inept, badly thrown together offensive lineups that we've seen in a long time. The additions in the off season make no sense at all for this 2010 team. Come on now, there's no way they hit under .200 all season.. its just not going to happen.. SoxFan1
QUOTE (nathanbusch @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:44 PM) More like 4. Ya, I was looking at the wrong teams stats. 2 from PK, 1 from Rios, and 1 from CQ.
caulfield12
Meanwhile, Minnesota is posed to win 6 ALCD championships in 9 years. Luckily for the White Sox, it's not 7, but only because of Rick Hahn's kid making a 50/50 guess on a coin flip. The scary thing is that the Twins can outspend us (as well as the Tigers) now, too. Dick Allen
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) In all seriousness... somebody in the front office has to be at least thinking about hitting the Panic Button. What it does is kills ticket sales. While obviously every game you win now is one less you have to win later, it is only 5 games and no need to panic, but you would want to win a game or two here or there before this thing really snowballs. SoxFan1
QUOTE (TheHolyBovine @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:47 PM) Considering the division we play in, our "accomplishments" are unimpressive. Context is everything, or aren't you bright enough to understand that? Either way, why don't you go f*** yourself? Bye bye.
Soxbadger
There is no reason to hit the panic button, the pitching has been outstanding. This is the 5th game, or the equivalent of 3% of the season. If the Sox were winning games 10-1, I wouldnt be saying that this was the best offense, just like now Im not saying they are the worst offense.
