I think its basically gonna be Glover for Schoenweiss.  I don't anticipate anyone like Pacheco involved.  You could see someone like Ryan Meaux moved or something along those lines.

ok let put it out there and lets keep this somewhere where we can refer to it.

who is for the trade and who isn't?

for me i am going to say this right now, it is a wash for me. i am not too impress with him. but in ref to who got the best i don't know.

do i like the trade.

yes.

I wouldn't even really understand a prospect of the value of Meaux. Glover and Schoenweiss play similar roles, one right one lefty though. Plus, Glover is younger....

I think it definitely depends on the prospects we are sending, and if they are actaully prospects.

I agree with you. I think both have been big dissapointments and they've had similar careers to this point. I'm thinking as things change we'll find out who exactly is moving. COuld be Ross Gload..Angels need a first baseman (They might as well try them).

If its just Glover for Scho...then I'm happy with it.

The Angels got better last season after they jerked Schoenweis outta the rotation.

he pitched three total innings in the post-season and came into this year with a career ERA over 5.00

Glover ain't much. he had plenty of chances to start or relieve and was never better than mediocre.

But this guy ain't the answer.

hope we didn't give up a solid prospect.

Glover was much better than mediocre as a setup man at the beginning of last year. He was lights out.

Doug Nickle is also acquired by the Sox. I saw him in spring training. Has a good arm and had a tremendous spring. Supposed to be a classy guy (There was a long long article in the times during spring training about him). I recall him being a writer as well.

Is kind of old for a prospect if I recall.

go ahead and pencil Schoeneweis in for Saturday night in Seattle

he wanted outta anaheim to start and the Sox need a fifth starter.

he'll get the crack at the Stewart/Wright/Porzio spot.

nickle has solid numbers at Salt Lake City

must be a soft tosser, though, only 23 ks in more than 48 innings.

doesn't seem as horrid as some of the other KW gems, but it seems that we overpaid again.

As of right now htere is nothing on the fan forum site for tha angels. Are all these people out surfing

2 minutes ago the radio here reported it.

It was hillarious...caller was talking about why they'd deal Schoey. Talk show host had no idea he was getting dealt (it was Hacksaw for those that are familiar with him) and after he hangs up the phone they finally hear about the deal.

KW said:

``Right now, our primary need for him is in the bullpen,'' White Sox general manager Ken Williams said. ``He's not stretched out enough to go into the rotation.''

Williams said Schoeneweis will be given a chance in spring training to win a spot in the starting rotation.

``He has three quality pitches,'' Williams said. ``We can visualize him in our rotation next year.'' Schoeneweis will join Kelly Wunsch and Damaso Marte as left-handers in the White Sox's bullpen.

I dont think that he will be on the SR, but if White is released today, defenetely Schoe will be on the BP.

Maybe we can put him out there in situations instead of Rick "Hammered Every Game" White...

New Nickname for Shoenweiss:

Fo Sho

Fo Sho, I think that would go along with "he gone" by Hawk. :D

Also saw a good nickname for White on the ESPN board: White trash. Simple yet fitting.
