Real
QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 07:52 PM) i strongly feel like we are going to get no hit lol anyways, even if we do,i dont think it does much. meaning, i dont see kw making a move (that itd send him a message) The front office should feel some sense of embarassment for assembling a lineup that gets no-hit. Even if it's a kneejerk reaction, I'll take it
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 07:45 PM) Wait till it gets warmer. The bats will come around. Yeah, they will turn the heat on in the Rogers Centre.
maggsmaggs
I am hoping for a hit, being no-hit is terribly embarrassing. I think KW will get the message even with a one hitter.
caulfield12
It's really better to get no-hit, first, there's not a real difference between a 1 or 2 hitter for us winning the game, and it puts more pressure and embarassment in the laps of the front office and Guillen, so I'm all for that. Jordan4life_2007
I choose to give Romero some credit for being absolutely Johan Santana in his prime filthy than to obsess over the ineptitude of our offense.
maggsmaggs
Alexei Ramirez needs to be benched so he can get his head out of his ass. Although that would put Vizquel as the starter which won't be better.
GoSox05
I think we can still win this one. We just need to get some hit.

Even if it's a kneejerk reaction, I'll take it agreed. a lot of people blame it on ozzie. but no, its the front office not just him (cq,rios, teahan, ramirez, gordon, pk,aj, those are kw's players)
lostfan
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 08:52 PM) I'd love for Rios to break it up. That would be awesome, lol

fathom
One no hitter is not going to make or break the outlook for this team.
Real
The way this offense started the season, I was kind of worried if we were going to get no-hit, this just solidifies the badness If we could've kept from striking out in pitchers counts (0-2, 1-2), I'm better we would have at least 2-3 hits tonight Bad offense is bad
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 07:57 PM) One no hitter is not going to make or break the outlook for this team. And it's certainly not going to make KW jump up and say, "AHA! I've seen the light! We need to upgrade the offense now."
Real
I think Beckham will get the last AB in the 9th, unless we get another walk or can break it up before then

maggsmaggs
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 07:58 PM) And it's certainly not going to make KW jump up and say, "AHA! I've seen the light! We need to upgrade the offense now." Realistically, there is no way we can upgrade this team now. San Diego isn't trading Gonzalez yet nor is any other team trading top players yet. We have no one in AAA who can come in and make an impact, maybe Flowers but he isn't going to play over AJ or disrupt Ozzie's DH combo. We're gonna be stuck with a s***ty offense all year most likely.
