lostfan
You know, I'm actually shocked that they didn't call that an offensive foul on Rose.
lostfan
"The future of Vinny del Negro in Chicago is cloudy." lol no. About as cloudy as a bright, warm day in June. VDN is done. Edited April 28, 2010 by lostfan

knightni
Why didn't Rose drive to the basket? There's no need to be timid and pull up in that instance!
whitesoxfan99
Lol at the refs in the OKC game. Lakers getting away with murder.
Quin
Man, I can't stand the superstar treatment. LeBron could trip with no one in a 10 ft radius, and they'd get a foul called. Only if Derrick and Noah strongly lobby for Vinny's stay do I see them keeping him. And even then its a 1% chance of happening. Now, go sign Bosh. DBAHO
Very good effort from the Bulls, unfortunately they came up just a little short. If VDN gets fired, I think he definitely deserves another head coaching opportunity down the line, and where he can bring in his own assistants. Seems as if Lebron's elbow is hurting too, hopefully that continues going into the playoffs.
SoxAce
The refs are a friggin joke in this game. That and 1 from Rose literally cost them that game. Cleveland went on a 20-7 run when Rose didn't get that call. It's already bad when guys like Rose don't get calls when he is being murdered going to the hole and guys like Howard get foul calls when he barely touches guys, but games like this is why I still think the NBA is rigged. Stern didn't want players complaining.. well it's getting pretty obvious to fans too. Hell even the announcers (Miller and the other guy) were saying how Rose didn't get fouled by Shaq, Brad's double fouls, and Rose's and 1 to be nothing. Jordan4life_2007
And that's a season. Made the playoffs. Got the "experience." Now that, that's outta the way, this off-season will determine the fate of this franchise for the next 5 years, at least.
MHizzle85
Decision on VDN to take 'few' days. Um, what? You basically fired the guy earlier in the season, then didn't because you didn't have a "suitable" replacement. Then you hang him out to dry on a few occasions on top of that? This front office is f***ed. This could be the one thing that keeps the Bulls from getting a big name FA.

Personally I don't think there's any doubt Stern wants Lebron vs. Kobe in the finals, and he's instructed the refs to help those teams out as much as possible. Kyyle23
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 02:55 AM) Personally I don't think there's any doubt Stern wants Lebron vs. Kobe in the finals, and he's instructed the refs to help those teams out as much as possible. While I agree with this, I dont think the Bulls were going to win the series if the refs called a semi-fair game and the Bulls won this game. It was seriously a joke to watch the refs in that game. How can you take that And-1 away from Rose? Brad Miller gets consecutive fouls against Shaq on an isolation play when Shaq is initiating the contact with his elbows and pushing Miller back, and then they call the exact same thing on Noah? That was seriously the set of plays in the 4th quarter that changed the game. The Bulls were immediately put in foul trouble with all of their big men and had to play soft the rest of the quarter, and they still only lost by 2. Im still disgusted with the game

I bet they are trying to avoid the mess involved with the last hiring where they kept missing out on guys publicly. They want his replacement lined up when they fire him. smalls2598
Rose's popularity continues to soar; his jersey sales came in at #4 for the season, only behind #1 Kobe (2nd year on top in a row), LeBron and Garnett Article
Balta1701
QUOTE (smalls2598 @ Apr 28, 2010 -> 11:17 AM) And would the Bulls even have anyone left under contract to make the sign+trade work? Unless Deng is somehow involved, is it possible? Since the Bulls are under the cap by the amount of a max deal...the Bulls can basically trade anyone to the Raptors because the Bulls can take on up to a max deal in any trade. The Bulls could trade their first round pick for Bosh, Hinrich for Bosh, Deng for Bosh, or anyone else on their roster. They could also, I believe, sign any of the guys on their roster who are currently FA's and deal them for Bosh.
nitetrain8601
Well, there's legal ramifications they have to hitch out such as not getting sued by VDN once he is fired.
whitesoxfan99
Wow Atlanta with a huge choke tonight blowing a solid late and what once was a 2-0 Atlanta series lead is now 3-2 Milwaukee. And it made me a little happy to see Jamal Crawford play a huge role in Atlanta losing tonight.
DBAHO
Hawks down 3-2 now. Hopefully the Bucks can make it thru to the 2nd round, would be a great story for them without Bogut.
