Balta1701
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 17, 2010 -> 10:53 PM) You have to hope Lebron is looking at Kobe and the insane amount of help he has and getting PISSED the f*** off. Dude, more likely what's been happening is Kobe's been hearing about how important Lebron james is for the last week and so he decided to drop 40. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 17, 2010 -> 08:10 PM) Pau Gasol is amazing. I honestly think he's one of the top 15 players in the game. Other than being "soft," he really doesn't have a legitimate weakness. You can say whatever you want about Kobe. But Kobe's ass wanted out when they were getting their asses kicked by the Suns a few years ago. It wasn't until the Lakers got Gasol for a used tampon that the Lakers went from .500 to title contender. He made my top 10 list I posted pages ago in this thread. HuskyCaucasian
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 17, 2010 -> 11:07 PM) Oh man this is hilarious. Producer/Reporter Justin Weiner of WGN Radio 720 reports that Lebron James was seen house searching in Highland Park. Schuster said he heard the same thing on the Score but he didnt deam it very credible. (Maybe this is where Weiner heard it)
Jenksismyhero
QUOTE (bmags @ May 18, 2010 -> 07:27 AM) all this lebron to chicago hype just seems like the beginning of crushing, bitter disappointment. Agreed. I'm trying to ignore the speculation as much as possible.

Its just nice to think of the Bulls as a major player in FA again. If he stays in Cleveland or goes to NY, I will be disappointed but not mad, if he goes to NJ or Miami, I will be pissed off. I will not be mad about anything if the Bulls walk away with 1 of the big 3.
daa84
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ May 18, 2010 -> 08:13 AM) Schuster said he heard the same thing on the Score but he didnt deam it very credible. (Maybe this is where Weiner heard it) a caller called into mully and hanley and said he has a personal friend who is a real estate agent who showed him around...take that for what its worth, but the guy didnt sound like someone who would be calling it in and making it up

It helps when NBA teams are now getting bye weeks in between playoff games. Kobe hasn't looked that fresh since November.

nitetrain8601
I doubt LeBron is already house shopping. He's going to be working out in Chicago with Eddy Curry, but he did so last year as well(without Eddy). In fact, he spent most of his summer in Chicago. I still doubt LeBron comes. I'm pretty sure he's using us for leverage, Eddie Jones style.

whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 18, 2010 -> 07:03 PM) Leverage for what? I'm not getting the leverage angle either, LeBron gets to pick his team and since there is a max contract he can't create leverage to get more money. nitetrain8601
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 18, 2010 -> 07:03 PM) Leverage for what? To get a better team that he can grow with in Cleveland. Similar to Kobe and the Bulls. He may like the Bulls alot and be enamored with them, but he wants to win a championship where he currently is at. Antawn Jamison was a good scorer on a crap team. He should almost never be a number two scorer. Mo Williams is a decent player, but he shouldn't be your 2nd best player. They were depending on an aging Shaq and Ilgauskus. Anthony Parker was their starting 2 guard which is almost as bad as the Lakers at one point having Smush Parker as the starting PG.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (Cowch @ May 18, 2010 -> 07:28 PM) It's kinda sad really. I imagine this increases the Bulls chances of Lebron? 70 losses and not even a top 2 pick. I would imagine this would take the Nets out of the running for Lebron, if they ever had a chance to begin with. I know Wall and Lebron are pals. Meh, they still get Favors, Cousins or Turner and I'm not convinced that those guys won't be better than Wall. Wall was extremely mediocre against good competition this year. SoxFan1
FWIW, I still think Turner will be the best player in this draft. And I think Favors has higher potential than Wall.
