Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 14, 2010 -> 06:01 PM) Well, there IS a chance he'll come to the Bulls. But to me, it's still an underdog proposition, so I wouldn't get excited. I know there's a 'chance.' But folks are setting themselves up for some pretty massive disappointment. The thought of Lebron in a Bulls uni is just too improbable to comprehend. And I for one have never believed in miracles.
Palehosefan
Lebron and Calipari will be a package deal this offseason. Those two along with John Wall, their agent Rose, and Worldwide Wes will all be going on a free agent tour this offseason together. I'm sure it will be slimy as hell. nitetrain8601
QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ May 14, 2010 -> 07:45 PM) Its on him to prove he actually wants to win. The Bulls give him the best opportunity to win It's a matter of what's most important to him. Is it his legacy on the basketball court, or his life outside of basketball that is supreme? Remember, he stated he wanted to be a billion dollar athlete. Money is super important to him. If he wants pure money, he goes to New York. If he wants to be with what he knows, he stays in Cleveland, if he cares purely about his basketball legacy, he'll probably go to the Bulls. Honestly, I think winning isn't as important as you guys think he is. This guy is so self absorbed with himself, he believes he can win anywhere. For the most part, he is right. Without LeBron, Cleveland probably doesn't make the playoffs or they are an 8th seed. If he went to the Clippers, they would be a top team next year. Right now, he's mad because he lost after another great season. When they actually get a competent coach in there, they'll be fine. Of course, I'd gladly eat crow. Quin
Bill Simmons: 3. If he cares about winning titles (multiple) and reaching his full potential as a player, he has only one move: the Chicago Bulls. That's always been the play. If you've been listening to my podcast or reading this column, you know that I've been touting this possibility since the winter, and here's why: Deep down, I think LeBron (and, just as important, the people around him) realizes that he needs one more kick-ass player to make his life easier. That means Miami or Chicago. And really, I can't imagine him signing with Miami because Dwyane Wade is almost too good. LeBron wants help, but he doesn't want to be perceived as riding someone else's coattails, either. Wade might be the best player alive for all we know -- he certainly was in 2006, and he's been banged-up and trapped on bad teams ever since. No, Chicago makes more sense. Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah proved they were warriors these past two springs. They could be LeBron's Pippen/Grant or McHale/DJ. Easily. Rose could take the creative load off LeBron on nights when he doesn't have it. Rose could come through a few times in the clutch. Rose could hide some of LeBron's faults. It's the single smartest basketball move for LeBron James. It's the Michael Corleone move. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...mp;sportCat=nba http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/fp/flashPol...mp;pollId=90994 Man, public support is quickly going to Bulls. lostfan
I know people are asking can Rose and LeBron play together, but I don't know why. That's misunderstanding the kind of player Rose is, the reason he dominates the ball so much is because he's the only true scorer on the Bulls right now. It's also misunderstanding the kind of player LeBron is - people just assume he's a ballhog, he's really not, he averages almost 10 assists a game. But seriously you add LeBron first and then worry about how it's going to work with other players later.

D Rose will created for LeBron and vice versa. They both play above the rim and can breakdown defenders at will. I dont understand how anyone can question their ability to play together. The Cavaliers are questioning it quite heavily. LeBron cannot succeed unless he has a PG as good as Mo Williams.

MurcieOne
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 14, 2010 -> 05:59 PM) I know this will be next to impossible for most. But I'd try my absolute hardest to get it out of my head that there's a chance Lebron will be a Bull. I agree with you. But if you cant get lost in the fantasy of King James coming to Chicago (especially given the fact that Broussard and Ford have reported such a possibility) then what fun is it to be a sports fan? May as well get swept up in the circus and see what happens.

Wow.. ya I see it on some reports now. I know Delonte had his issues off the court before, but jesus. They are speculating that's why LeBron played so bad from game 4 on cause he found out. DBAHO
Wow that's pretty f***ed up if true. I think either way with what happens with Lebron, Delonte just gave the Cavs permission to void his contract from next season.
