That's complete crap from Hawk and Stone. AJ had time to take one step to his left and create an angle. It's disgusting how they excused that.

 

And I suppose Peavy threw a tantrum on the mound because he agreed with AJ, right? He was just being overly cautious; afraid to throw it away.
