Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 04:52 PM) Lots of 5th starters are treated with kid gloves. You're complaining just to complain. Awesome performance by Freddy today.
Princess Dye
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 04:52 PM) And Garcia gets out of it. See? Hah. Lead intact? I have really high standards in the bedroom as well.
chw42
At least he won't be 0-3 to start the year. That is if Ozzie doesn't pull what he did to Peavy.
Princess Dye
Not complaining to complain. I'd like to see the bullpen protect that 1 run lead for 9 outs. I think they'd have done it but if we want to rely on convention so be it.

Balta1701
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Apr 24, 2010 -> 05:55 PM) Not complaining to complain. I'd like to see the bullpen protect that 1 run lead for 9 outs. I think they'd have done it but if we want to rely on convention so be it. Once Figgins got on to lead off the inning, the odds were that there was zero the bullpen could do to keep that run from scoring. If he hadn't made 2nd on the error, he'd have stolen it. And you don't pull your starter out after 6 innings when he's retired 7 in a row and thrown 77 pitches. That's terrible bullpen management too.
