I see no joy in this...

The few games the Sox will win this year will be by the homerun.

I would fire Guillen and Williams tonight.

This is light years from a multi-dimensional offense.

Then stop watching White Sox baseball...if this game wasn't fun for you...just wow.

you seem to be the type of person who would say....

be given a $1,000 christmas bonus by a boss and say,

"i should quit tomorrow - i deserved $3,000."

I'll agree that I don't see much of the "Ozzie Ball" that I thought we'd see. Guys stealing on 3-2 counts running on more or less contact plays resulting in CS, not too many hit and runs, runners on 3rd and 1st, and not stealing 2B (especially with 2 out to not have the force-out) to avoid the double play, etc.. I'll say this though, I could care less about Guillen's preference to steals than home runs, the long ball is what is winning us these games.

This doesn't make me think they're WS contenders all of a sudden, but you can't get joy from a good win?

When was the last time we hit 2 homers in the bottom of the 9th?

There may have been a time in between, but this is the last time I recall:

Alex's stroke right now is fun to watch. Short, quick and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who's ball comes off the bat in the big leagues better than his right now...

RIOS!!!!

Can someone confirm if I was right about this?

I think we'll see more of it when we prove we can actually get on base at a higher clip. Hard to put too much in play when you only get one baserunner every three innings...

Your link didn't work for me, but on the post game show, they said it was the first time ever for the Sox at US Cellular.

How can anybody say they see "no joy" in this.

It's what sports are all about, especially baseball. Not giving up ... and the longball.

Had many fans left? I hope not. It's why you should never leave a game early. Anybody want to admit to leaving early?

Nice job Paulie and Rios and Carlos for getting on base for Rios.
