BigSqwert
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) Well we could always dust off Nix, who would put up pretty much the same numbers. I've got the lineup in my sig.
caulfield12
Linebrink at 90-93. Have yet to see the 92-95 MPH fastball consistently...maybe he's letting up a bit more in an effort to get better command/control in the zone after working with Cooper? Capn12
Ah yes, HERE is the Scott Linebrink I am used to seeing.
caulfield12
Williams here against Gardner? Santos? Pena?
fathom
Linebrink had looked good this season, but he has no zip on his pitches today.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 1, 2010 -> 01:34 PM) I've got the lineup in my sig. Going two innings at a time without anyone who is hitting seems good...
BigSqwert
It's going to be tough to hide Williams and Linebrink in our bullpen if our starters don't regularly go 6 to 8 innings.

kane0730
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 1, 2010 -> 02:30 PM) .224/.302/.608 1 HR 4 RBI That's what I get for trying to think positive.
caulfield12
Linebrink pitching too cautiously, like he's a bit gunshy to let go with a fastball over the center of the plate. Farmer hyping up Liney's FB, how he's at 94 this year vs. 88-91 MPH in 2009.
jeffro2525
He gives up a hit and then goes 2-0 to the next two hitters...seriously. Don't lose your aggressiveness.
iamshack
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 1, 2010 -> 01:34 PM) I've got the lineup in my sig. The problem is Teahan hasn't really hit much yet. He's just been taking free passes. I worry that hitting second he would actually have to swing and then not only would his OBP drop, but his BA as well. BigSqwert
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2010 -> 02:35 PM) Going two innings at a time without anyone who is hitting seems good... In case you haven't noticed, we go 4 or 5 games each week where the opposing pitcher retires 9 to 12 batters in a row. And that's with our current lineup. Don't see how it would change that much with my suggested lineup.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 1, 2010 -> 01:38 PM) In case you haven't noticed, we go 4 or 5 games each week where the opposing pitcher retires 9 to 12 batters in a row. And that's with our current lineup. Don't see how it would change that much with my suggested lineup. i don't see setting the line up with all of them in a row will help that. All it does is make it easier for those kind of runs to happen instead of harder.

caulfield12
You can't throw 85% FB's at 92-94 over and over again with this Yankees' line-up. EPIC FAIL.
TitoMB345
Thanks for nothing, Linebrink. Sox doing their best effort to make sure the Yankees go 7-1 at home.
fathom
Just some brilliant managing here. Of course, let Granderson and Gardner face the RHP with weak stuff.

jeffro2525
Why can't anybody do the job when we need a good inning...maybe Ozzie's hands ARE tied. Rediculous. Bottom of the order.
