Quin
QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 1, 2010 -> 11:12 AM) I'm sorry....but at what point is Donny Lucy hitting well enough to DH him or AJ and we can have both of them in the order on days like this? It would save us from having to have Kotsay and Vizquel in the same order...Lucy, as far as I can tell, is hitting the ball as well as anyone... And of course, he will probably be sent down to Charlotte's bench once Castro gets back.
WSoxMatt
No way Id DH Lucy with only 2 Cs on the roster...the way AJ is struggling, he could get tossed easily with any of his stares/gestures back at the HP ump
BigSqwert
How much longer will we have to deal with this inept NL quality roster? Is there anything KW can even do given our lack of minor league resources?

southsider2k5
They also said that Jones is already having back spasms, which is why he didn't play yesterday. So much for we should play him every single day, huh?

SoxAce
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 1, 2010 -> 11:50 AM) They also said that Jones is already having back spasms, which is why he didn't play yesterday. So much for we should play him every single day, huh? That was for the posters who were complaining about him not playing everyday. Dude has been injury prone for a while. He should only start 4-5 days a week really. You have to treat him much more delicately than Carlos Quentin. Edited May 1, 2010 by SoxAce

Dude has been injury prone for a while. He should only start 4-5 days a week really. And even with being a part-time starter, his back is already giving out. I remember that happening to the Twins last year. They started Redman at Catcher and Mauer at DH. Redman got thrown out and Mauer had to go catch so they had to forfeit their DH for the rest of the game...it happens.
TitoMB345
Ozzie is a f***ing p****. Says he's gonna bench Pierre, then OH NO HES BACK! Wow, I just puked my my mouth a bit. Yet another awful lineup. VIZQUEL LEADOFF FTW!!!

Balta1701
We pulled the guy hitting .193 out of the leadoff spot to replace him with the guy hitting .093.

fathom
Wow, this umpire has a huge zone. Javy can be pretty nasty if he's getting every pitch around the plate called, as he won't have to nibble.
