Redefine what a leadoff hitter has to be. There's nothing wrong with him just being a good hitter. Take a long hard look at what AJ brings and see if you can afford that lack of throwing arm anymore. Give up an out, but pretty much guaranteed to score the run... Gotta get creative when you're struggling offensively. Instead, we got the Pierre standard at-bat... an unproductive out.
