southsider2k5
Peavy finally has that late movement on everything tonight. The fastball has some pop, the slider has the bottom coming out of it, and the cutter is moving sideways.
chw42
9 Ks for Peavy.

caulfield12
The Tigers, to their credit, did have a big comeback win at home against MIN when the Twins were leading 6-1 I think...they don't ever lie down. Great defensive play by Beckham there. Butler being slower than the Molina Brothers after eating multiple 2 pound burgers doesn't hurt much, either. chw42
That looked like strike 3. That 2 seamer late movement is amazing.
southsider2k5
That came from his belt to the middle of the plate... And of course a basehit after that.
jeffro2525
Hahaha....Peavy is so intense. Screaming at the home plate umpire as Callaspo's ball gets through for a hit.
chw42
Jake appears to be in a bit of trouble. The inning should have been over already though.

Princess Dye
QUOTE (beckham15 @ May 3, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) haha peavy yellin at the umpire as he was leaving the field If he has any sense, it was more of him half-apologizing for any of the anger he was expressing earlier in the inning. But if that's true then that's not having much poise for being up 5-0...
ThunderBolt
QUOTE (beckham15 @ May 3, 2010 -> 10:03 PM) haha peavy yellin at the umpire as he was leaving the field It reminds me of when we put him against the Tigers in what should have been a meaningless game for him last year, and he left the field in one of the later innings screaming, "YEAH, THAT"S WHAT I'M f***ING TALKING ABOUT," after getting a K to retire the side.. chw42
I thought Jones hit that one out, oh well. Peavy is literally the white Carlos Zambrano. The funny part is that they also have very similar stuff.
