caulfield12
Hopefully we can lead the majors in stolen bases and caught stealings. Not so smart to send AJ when Teahen isn't a HIGH contact hitter at all. Nor is he a power hitter. He's more like a bigger Willie Bloomquist without the speed or defensive skills, but more doubles and a handful of homers. chw42
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 3, 2010 -> 08:14 PM) What did A.J. Do? He slid and then fell on his ass.

chw42
You know how the Sox can solve this attendance problem? Paint all the seats black and make every game a blackout.

He got it up to 94 on Kendall. As long as he's around 92-94, he's fine.

I'll say this now, I don't want Peavy throwing 9 innings. His pitch count will end up being 130. You gotta save his arm given his past injury issues. caulfield12
Royals' announcers attributing our current problems to: Low BA and low OPS Poor defense Poor BA w/ RISP Spotty bullpen They forgot spotty starting pitching. It is kind of amusing we're second in homers and first in stolen bases on May 3rd. The Vegas odds against that eventuality would have been pretty darned high. caulfield12
The switch just seems to turn on for Ramirez the first or second week of May every year. Maybe we should just leave him in Cuba or the DR until the last week of April...next season.
