iamshack
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:09 PM) I think its one of the games that if bullpen keeps us in it, we come back and win. Now that's the kind of optimism I like to see! And if not, at least we have these great NHL Playoff commercials.
daggins
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:09 PM) I think its one of the games that if bullpen keeps us in it, we come back and win. I've not had this feeling once this year, even when it has happened, and especially not against a pitcher like Eveland. This offense is not going to have a shot against even decent pitching as constructed.

jeffro2525
Royals come back from 8-0 down to tie their game at 9-9. Hillman rewards them by putting in Bruce Chen to try and hold the Rangers down. I'm sure this ends well...
iamshack
QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:18 PM) Ely just K'd Fielder on a nasty 2 seam 90 mph fastball I actually liked Ely a lot...I was sad to see him being part of that deal.

My brother played with him in high school, so of course I'll root for him. With that said, I don't think he's an AL caliber starter.

fathom
I really hate what they've done to Nix's swing. They made him a lot less aggressive, as he's one of those guys you tell to just pull the ball and hit it as hard as you can.
