That's 2 innings here with no baserunners in about 33% less time than it took for 1 baserunner-free inning of Red Sox-Yankees earlier.

Swisher hit a three-run bomb off Beckett. Having himself a year.

This is a pretty sad lineup...Vizquel hitting 2nd? hah, thats a laugher.

It's unreal, it really is. I hope KW learned, and goes with talented guys on our bench next season instead of the 2000 all-star roster.

Hawk was talking up Randy Ruiz, which i found odd. THere's a lot nicer things to be said about players who are not Randy Ruiz.

He did the same thing in Toronto, and I remarked that I feel he's become his agent.

Can we just bring Grinder Rules back? While we're at it, bring back Brian Dalgin to try and recreate 2005.

I'd trade everyone that has anything to do with the radio or tv broadcast for John Rooney...

Well maybe not Hawk. But everyone else.

John Rooney is so good. Now he's just Mike Shannons "straight" man for the Cardinals.

On April 30th, his OPS was .779. On April 23rd it was .708. He's having himself a great 2 weeks at the most.

Because normally you expect to be dominated by two pitch pitchers (88 mph fastball, 73-74 MPH change-up).

Well, you do if you're a Sox fan...or a non-believer in this offense.

Will this go down as one of the five most boring games in MLB history...if not that, Top 10?
