Balta1701
HR for Flowers, couple of SB's for D2.
flavum
Buddy Bell was on the Score this morning. He was saying Danks is trying to do some things with his swing to shorten up. So hopefully that will pay dividends in the next few months. Hopefully a September call up, and he's in the lineup in 2011.

Balta1701
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ May 9, 2010 -> 07:03 PM) For who? maggsmaggs
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 9, 2010 -> 06:03 PM) Right now...both of them look like .200 hitters on a good day. A .248 hitter in AAA will probably hit about the same. Granted, he at least can hit the ball in the gaps unlike Pierre who is worthless basically at anything but singles/stolen bases. Sadly, he is the better option in the OF but only because his .200 average will come with a slugging percentage better than his batting average. CSF
Shirek sporting a 0.71 ERA through 6 starts, nice. The 1.18 BB/9 is also nice. The 5.21 K/9 is not.
SoxAce
Great outing from Wickswat. Flowers already has 5 homers in only 85 ABs compared to 2 last year in 105 ABs (and a higher BB rate, though alittle high on the SO as well). Good to see. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (CSF @ May 9, 2010 -> 10:04 PM) Shirek sporting a 0.71 ERA through 6 starts, nice. The 1.18 BB/9 is also nice. The 5.21 K/9 is not. The other key stat to look at with Charlie is GB:FB, which is 2.38 for him (62 GB, 26 FB), and that's a great number. Further, the 22:5 K:BB is nice. But he's definitely not missing as many bats as you'd like to see - though 5.21 is an improvement over the 3.2 he was at in B-Ham last year.
