caulfield12
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 15, 2010 -> 07:33 PM) I'd like you to name 3 guys from the '07 team worth watching. Alex Rios and John Danks alone make this team more worth watching over that one. Josh Fields and Jerry Owens were fun to follow the 2nd half that year. Even Wasserman as a rookie. Buehrle had his first no-hitter.
Quin
Frank should move from the booth and DH. He can't do worse. Also, have Hawk catch. He'll distract batters with his stories.

southsideirish71
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 15, 2010 -> 07:36 PM) Josh Fields and Jerry Owens were fun to follow the 2nd half that year. Even Wasserman as a rookie. Buehrle had his first no-hitter. Jerry Owens was never fun to watch.
BigSqwert
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 15, 2010 -> 07:36 PM) Josh Fields and Jerry Owens were fun to follow the 2nd half that year. Even Wasserman as a rookie. Buehrle had his first no-hitter. Mark and Javy had ERA's under 4 but crappy run support most of the time. And an Alexei sighting tonight! Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 15, 2010 -> 07:36 PM) Josh Fields and Jerry Owens were fun to follow the 2nd half that year. Even Wasserman as a rookie. Buehrle had his first no-hitter. None of the first three were fun to watch for me. I guess you can say Javy was fun to watch. Bobby Jenks' consecutive batters sat down was real nice. As bad as this year has been so far, 2007 was A LOT worse.

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 15, 2010 -> 05:34 PM) We want a 1B with a 675-725 OPS, don't think so. You can't have Morel AND Teahen on the corners and expect anything but last place. who said i wanted to keep teahen?

ThunderBolt
Switching back and forth with the D-backs game now. It's more fun watching a team like the D-Backs that's young and bad, rather then a team like the Sox which is old and bad. This is as much as a an argument for the start of the Flowers/Hudson era as i can make, right now. Edited May 16, 2010 by Thunderbolt
