Dick Allen
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 15, 2010 -> 08:01 PM) Switching back and forth with the D-backs game now. It's more fun watching a team like the D-Backs that's young and bad, rathern then a team like the Sox which is old and bad. This is as much as a an argument for the start of the Flowers/Hudson era as i can make, right npw. But the Sox lead the league in SB, and probably could do a decent job of scoring from 2B on singles, if they only could get a couple hits the same inning. Dick Allen
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 15, 2010 -> 07:52 PM) I got the Royals broadcasters again. My god this is a dull experience. No doubt about it.

caulfield12
Only reason to follow this game is Paciorek for me. I really miss hearing that voice. Gordon Beckham one more missed opportunity...Charlotte looms. He's just completely feeling for the ball and not swinging the bat with any authority. Alexei Ramirez leading the majors with 29 foul homers. Ramirez, what were you doing with that 2-0 count?????? Brain/vapor lock again sets in. spiderman
It's safe to say that this game is over. Sox scoring 5 runs in a game? Ha Ha!
spiderman
MLB Network has the Cardinal and Reds on, I'm probably switching to that soon. I'm just so disgusted that this season is over not even 2 months into it.
ThunderBolt
You don't gamble with an offense coming into the season, even if you have the best damn pitching staff in the world. There's no excuse for what managment did this offseason. Edited May 16, 2010 by Thunderbolt

Dick Allen
On a serious note, if I were the producer/director at Comcast, I tell the Big Hurt tomorrow, I don't care what you say, say f***, s***, call Hawk's wife a whore, just do not say no doubt about it. caulfield12
Beckham at .189, 542 OPS. Yikes. Has a TSN Rookie of the Year ever been demoted in the first three months (or two months, lol) of the following season? Might break another record with that dubious "achievement." Balta1701
10 in a row retired. Is there any game when the Sox don't have a streak of double digit hitters consecutively retired?
JohnCangelosi
2 hits through 6. This offense is so pathetic, I am tempted to pack it in for the year already, how sad

caulfield12
Has anyone seen the WGN TV ratings? I would imagine that if Nielsen did a survey at 10 pm EST, it might be under 1,000 viewers in the entire US.

ThunderBolt
When the reality show comes out, and we get to the scene where KW says something to the effect of, "uh... my major concern is that i did not get you enough guys who can get on-base," we all need to take a shot. Dick Allen
QUOTE (Capn12 @ May 15, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) WHY THE f*** is Konerko first ball swinging ALL night?? This is a question I have about the rotating DH. He's been sitting there all game, and not used to DHing. He's 2-14 as a DH. Its a small sample size, but I just wonder if not being in the game as a fielder is making him more anxious as a hitter.
