chetkincaid
How long is CQ going to be out? Is he headed for the DL? Did they find some dismembered body parts in the back of his luxury SUV or something?

chetkincaid
QUOTE (robinventura23 @ May 16, 2010 -> 12:39 PM) I don't see how having Quentin out of the lineup lately is a bad thing.... Yeah but we're hoping he's going to turn it around one of these days, right? I'm not ready to give up on him just yet. I'd explore calling in a hitting specialist (not named Greg Walker) to work exclusively with him.

And they have a very nice Cheesecake Factory on The Plaza in Kansas City. I've been on a few dates there. Hmmm....

Balta1701
G it up. Frankly, I don't care if this game goes 23 innings. I want Matt Thornton to have the day off. I'd rather have Kotsay pitch.

Try the Sox broadcast again, it took a couple extra minutes for that to turn on for me but it's working now.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2010 -> 01:14 PM) Who ends up with the higher batting average this season, Beckham or Andruw Jones? Beckham. I was reading something yesterday. This is the AB total when Jones just fell apart last season. His numbers after 110 or so AB are about the same as last season, except he has a couple more homers. I don't think he can keep it up, but hopefully he won't fall totally apart.

And he's been showing signs with a back and neck injury the past couple of weeks. Hopefully they can keep it at bay, but you have to figure he probably is going to go down sometime.
