At least they are hitting the ball today. This is a win. Its a lock.

Sadly, I'm going to be scared about G on the road every game until he has a few good ones in a row.

As I type that, Butler nailed that ball.

So is Thornton ok? Also, what was Peavy's fastball like yesterday?

Peavy's fastball got a little wild in the first and it cost him. I'm not sure I trust the KC gun but it had him 94 through the whole game.

They say Thornton is OK. As I said in my writeup, saying "Thornton's elbow is OK" is like telling me "The problem at the nuclear plant is under control". Yeah, you may be trying to reassure me, but I don't want to be talking about it in the first place.

I flipped the channel during the commercial break and just got the joy of watching Aramis Ramirez with a complete "Ole!" bullfighting style move letting a ball float past him. I enjoyed that.

We call that, "pulling a Teahen."

Did he have the good slider going?

Excellent, I was out all night, and when I heard he pitched into the 9th, I was stunned.

If he was pitching with a team that had any confidence in its closer, he'd have pitched 8.
