Balta1701
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 16, 2010 -> 02:30 PM) At least they are hitting the ball today. This is a win. Its a lock. Sadly, I'm going to be scared about G on the road every game until he has a few good ones in a row. As I type that, Butler nailed that ball. Balta1701
I flipped the channel during the commercial break and just got the joy of watching Aramis Ramirez with a complete "Ole!" bullfighting style move letting a ball float past him. I enjoyed that.

Balta1701
QUOTE (fathom @ May 16, 2010 -> 02:34 PM) So is Thornton ok? Also, what was Peavy's fastball like yesterday? Peavy's fastball got a little wild in the first and it cost him. I'm not sure I trust the KC gun but it had him 94 through the whole game. They say Thornton is OK. As I said in my writeup, saying "Thornton's elbow is OK" is like telling me "The problem at the nuclear plant is under control". Yeah, you may be trying to reassure me, but I don't want to be talking about it in the first place.
