We're not talking 100 million dollar deals, but a few million here or there for a regional company in New York? He's not going to get that playing in Cleveland. And yeah, he's a global brand already, but I think if you put him on a russian owned team you've just opened the door to people he probably wouldn't connect with otherwise. I'm a little surprised that Amare would want to play for D'Antoni again, but at least the Knicks are coming away with at least 1 major FA from their POV. He has a net worth of over $13B, including $5B in cash... plus the type of ambition that would make Mark Cuban look like a slacker.
