boozer gets a 5 year $80 mil deal, that means his first year salary is around $13.8 mil, we have a little over $30 mil in cap space, so that leaves us about just enough to sign Lebron, let's hope that when the actual cap announces tonight, it won't be any less than the projected cap.

Once again I'm just passing along information, damn people

not taking it out on you, just responding to what seems to me a weird report... like I said, it's not like the details of many of those meetings were airtight, I just think it would have come out and ultimately the Bulls have a very attractive roster

Interesting. That isn't good. I was wondering why we hadn't heard anything and that could be a legitimate reason of why we hadn't heard it. Why would they ever admit that they just flat stunk. It would be interesting though, given how good they were when they tried to sell Kobe a couple years ago.

And Jerry has to be a good seller, unless of course he wasn't all that interested or somehow was turned off.

Broussard just said on ESPN he thinks the Bulls are still alive.

adande didn't say they bombed, he said from what he heard it wasn't what lebron wanted to hear, i.e., their whole pitch was come be the next michael jordan and he wasn't about being the NEXT MJ, but the FIRST LBJ. So, they didn't stroke his ego like everyone else.

Still, I dunno how a "bomb" of a presentation lasted 3 hours...

I wouldn't read too much into it.

Broussard is a f***ing tool. This morning he said Miami, all Miami. Then he said maybe Miami and Cleveland. Then he said Miami Cleveland and NY.

In other words, his sources are full of s***, or being the "expert" of NBA FA over at s***ty ESPN, he's just gaining viewers.

He is the guy who broke the Wade and Bosh story this morning though.

Broussard was all over the Bosh to Miami stuff. He was all over the James to report on ESPN stuff. He's been pretty legit.

He knows a lot, but he just is very loose with it. He said from what he was hearing his gut told him Miami was the favorite but that could change in an hour. He never said anything was a done deal.

He still believes Miami is the favorite.

I bet if you looked over Broussards tweets from the last week his "gut" has included every possible scenario.

And at least according to Woj at Yahoo!, he get the inside scoop on Miami/Bosh from Lebron's inner circle, who clearly play everyone all the time.

Just saying, consider the source.

if the bulls didnt go to Lebron and say that him winning 7 championships would make people in Chicago say, Jordan who, then they are far worse than I could have possibly imagined.

I mean thats just common sense. You tell the new guy he is the best thing ever, even if you dont believe it.

the Lakers and Celtics have been multi-generational elite franchises, Kobe is accepted in LAL and the big three in Bos were accepted in Bos

For anyone who knows s*** about taxes, finances, moves, etc...would that reported tax story even make any sense for something Lebron would do if he was moving to Chicago?

It could be something. I mean, you don't just change your paperwork. What all it truly means, I'm not so sure because I really don't know what he did. I assume he is changing his mailing address to a new location, but it claims it is an agency anyway so maybe he just changed agency that manage something for him?

No idea.

Well, again, and this is just what Broussard seems to think, but he thinks LeBron would love all the Jordan comparisons...says he worships MJ...I can't imagine LeBron didn't love that stuff...
