Well isn't everything hypothetical till papers are signed though?

I meant his tweet, he didn't say anything definitive:

"#nba The Raptors drafting ED Davis at #13 makes me feel like they know that they are going to LOSE Chris Bosh...hmmm stay tuned"

I'm seriously incredibly sad about Kirk moving. He was my second favorite player after Noah. I seriously still wish Deng magically got moved and Kirk didn't.

Meh. I really soured on Hinrich after '07. He got paid and did nothing but regress (maybe he wasn't that good to begin with). He won't be difficult to replace.

Yes he will. Team leader, great defense, versatile, good shooter. Ya, he was inconsistent and overpaid. But at 4 or 5 millions we'd love him, but at 9+, we didn't.

He'd be a great backup combo guard on a good team. For a team like the Bulls, he was more of a hindrance than an asset. And yes, the contract was a big part of that. But there was no way around that. His play didn't come close to justifying his pay. I won't miss him.

He is not a great defender and he is an average shooter at best by NBA standards.

Yeah. He's a try-hard defender and a streak shooter. Big difference. Either way, I'm glad he's gone or will be gone. Hopefully a lesson has been learned. You don't overpay for try-hard guys or specialists.

I'll miss him either way. At the time of the deal, it seemed like a great contract. He was improving, as were the Bulls, and he actually lived up to his pay in the 1st season of the deal, helping us sweep Miami in the playoffs and having career highs in 07, but like you said, since then its gone downhill and its a shame.

He is definitely a great defender partly because he can guard 3 positions but I agree he is too inconsistant to be considered a good shooter.
