SoxAce
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 07:45 PM) Hamilton makes $37 million for the next 3 years, the last year isn't guaranteed though. With Wade's team, the big 3 and Kobe's team.. it is not like the window is so big even with the young players we got. But all in all, this means Deng is still here (ugh...) but now we can soly focus on a SG. I guess I'm glad Kirk is gone at least.
Palehosefan
This board has lost it's mind. You have one team in the Lakers that were given the flopping Pau Gasol for nothing, have a possible rapist and certified douchebag as it's leading scorer. Has the piece of crap Artest and the fakest fanbase in the land. Then you have Miami with fans that have never won much, 3 guys that have never been in trouble, and now it's the Lakers as the good guys? Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are bigger piece of craps than anyone on the Heat roster. I can understand some frustration, but my goodness take a step back and breathe. The Bulls have a fantastic roster and will be contenders. But you can't talk s*** on LeBron after what Boozer did to Cleveland. LeBron actually took less money and left his hometown all because he wanted to win. He didn't care about being the main man, or Michael Jordan. He just wants to win. Nevermind that Kobe couldn't win s*** without at least one other top 10 player in the world in Shaq or Pau Gasol down low. This is not going to give Miami championships, it just makes them a strong contender. The Lakers still have two top 10 guys and arguably 4 top 25 guys in the NBA. The Bulls have a loaded roster, as do the Thunder etc. Nothing is given. Believing so is silly and foolish.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:43 PM) They wouldn't deserve to be fired. They put the best possible situation out there for LeBron, and he didn't give a s***. Miami's beaches stay warm in the winter. Let's put it this way. They bet everything and lost. They gambled the last 2 years of their franchise and the next 3+ years of their franchise on being able to win one of the top 3 guys this offseason, and couldn't figure out that the top 3 guys had all decided 2 years ago at the olympics that they wanted to play together. They could have won more games the last few years if they hadn't been going for cap space, and decided to go for the cap space instead. For that decision, they got the rights to give a terrible contract to Carlos Boozer. If that's not a fireable offense, then I don't know what is. Balta1701
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 8, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) Exactly. How can you not like the Thibo hire? Or Boozer? Or going all in for the biggest free agency period ever? These guys want to win. And look at the East sans the Heat. They will. I hate the Boozer deal. lostfan
I'm not really upset about LeBron going to Miami... I'm upset about Bosh, Wade, and LeBron pretending like they didn't know they were all going to Miami from the beginning, and f***ing with everybody for 2 weeks. The Bulls spent two years developing promising young talent while making the playoffs twice. There were no guarantees only chances. The Bulls took a chance. They lost but they didn't lose badly. SoxAce
Pat Riley is a friggin genius. I bet being a PG sold LeBron. He'll have the ball in his hands more-so than the others and even though he'll score less, he'll still get his. I expect his assist to be in the 10-12 range next season and his rebounds to go up. Might have a Robertson like season of an average triple-double. 20-10-12 or something like that.
