Two pre-season games is enough bro?

You do know even the post-Jordan 90s and early 2000s Bulls won pre-season games right?

Dragan Tarlac was better than Bill Russell, if Tarlac played on those teams he would have dominated Wilt

I have a friend who loves to make bets where he is getting odds. He offered to give me my pick of 4 teams to win the championship this year and he gets the field at 2:1 odds.

1) Is this a good bet for me?

2) If so, do I take the Heat, Bulls, Mavs, and Thunder or is there a team I'm missing?

I'm not a betting man but that looks like a solid bet, the NBA title will belong to the winner of the Heat/Bulls match up IMO.

I've seen enough. The Clippers are a legitimate championship contender. Oh my goodness. Forget about Blake Griffin for a second. What planet is DeAndre Jordan from? How can you be that f***ing athletic at his size? He, IMO, will be the second best C in basketball when it's all said and done. The Clippers are the new Showtime.

just think how dominant they would be if they had Jason Kidd

The West is an incredible conference again this year, I wouldn't throw around that the winner of the heat/bulls matchup will win the championship just yet.

Really? They seem to me like their trend of "slowly weakening" has continued, especially at the bottom of the conferenc.e

I think the East is the better conference, you have a declining Lakers and Spurs, the Mavs in my opinion look like a 1 championship team, Thunder are legit and the Clippers will be improved but not sold on title contender just yet, Grizzlies can be a dark horse.

I just feel the Heat or the Bulls can beat any team in the West in the Finals.

What do we see in the east beside heat and bulls anyway? D'antoni is tone deaf when it comes to his players needs to stay healthy. Even though I hate him, I feel for Amare this year. He's going to get run to death.

The Knicks would be dangerous if they had a defensive minded coach, they got some natural scorers, it's as if the Knicks FO thought, "well, we tried winning a title with defense during the 90s, that didn't work, so let's be the Phoenix Suns of the east".

So, possibly no Kobe on Sunday. Phil Jackson's gone, Odem is gone. Wow, Sunday should be fun for the Bulls.

Bynum also is serving his suspension for his flagrant against Barea in the WCF.

The Bulls could see a very odd Lakers lineup

I disagree. Every season for them since the end of the 90s has been "throw money at what is available, preferably the best available. but if not, oh well". there hasnt been a very distinguishable plan in quite a while

And it got them a mismatched roster with a mismatched coach. D'Antoni was the hot name when he was available, nobody cared that he didnt preach defense, he won a lot of games in Phoenix. The Knicks outbid the bulls for him, and then signed and signed and signed more players

Those people haven't watched much Vinny.

Vinny's not a bad coach. He was just given a very flawed roster, especially after they let go of BG. I'm not saying he's the best of the best, but I think he could be a top 15 coach which is slightly ahead of the pack. And as long as he gives his players freedom and massages their egos, he's good. People underestimate the good he did for Joakim and Derrick. Making Derrick learn from the bench when no one else, including most fans were ballsy enough to do so, and taking the criticism on the chin.

He didn't know how to use a time out or call a final play. The two most noticeable things a coach can do, vinny was atrocious at.

I think VDN did an abjectly awful job with the Bulls.

Not one person picked thibs to repeat, and looking at the MVP predictions as well not one person picked Rose to repeat.

DRose probably won't. His scoring numbers are going down with Rip on the team.

Brook Lopez is possibly out for the season with a stress fracture in his foot that requires surgery.

Sports Illustrated's Zach Lowe wrote on Twitter that he was told by a doctor who works with the Lakers that Lopez will need three to four months for healing and rehab, which would basically put him out for the entire season.

You can scratch the Nets off of possible trade destinations for Dwight, now.
