knightni
I'm going to predict that the first thing we'll hear is a sign and trade by Toronto sending Bosh somewhere. Where? I'm not sure.
knightni
QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 10:53 PM) I'm not really any worse than I was last year, I'm not a high-transaction guy. I made 9 moves COMBINED in the three Soxtalk leagues last year to much greater effect. I just drafted like s*** this year apparently. I've sent trade offers to you (which were ignored), we've posted messages to you (no response), we've made trades that you never validate, and I've sent PMs through Soxtalk with no reply. It's more than just transactions.
fathom
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 02:53 AM) I'm going to predict that the first thing we'll hear is a sign and trade by Toronto sending Bosh somewhere. Where? I'm not sure. And I then predict that everyone will think James will be going to where Bosh was traded...but they will end up on different teams. knightni
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 10:55 PM) And I then predict that everyone will think James will be going to where Bosh was traded...but they will end up on different teams. That's a reasonable prediction. I think that a majority of the free agents who opted out will just re-sign so that they can get an extension. StrangeSox
LeBron to LA, Kobe to the Nets, Johnson to the Bucks, Bosh, Wade, Stoudamire, Nash and Dirk to Cleveland. Mello to sign-and-trade to the Bulls for Deng. Deron Williams leaves the NBA for Lacrosse. This is based on just as many sources as the rest of the garbage out there right now. ZoomSlowik
QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 09:55 PM) I've sent trade offers to you (which were ignored), we've posted messages to you (no response) and we've sent trades that you never validate. It's more than just transactions. You're exaggerating quite a bit... 1) I've received two trade offers the entire season, and I don't recall ever seeing one from you. I still get the E-Mails. 2) I'm only the commish of the keeper, and there's been a whopping three trades the entire season, so it's not like I missed a ton of activity. I know I validated the early Steve/Chimpy one, don't recall on the other two. 3) I have no PM's in my inbox, and I pretty much never delete them (I still have ones from 2007). fathom
I predict the Bulls big FA signing is.....Carlos Boozer. Stoudemire will go to Miami with Wade, Bosh to Cleveland with James. I think it would be awesome if Nowitzki signed with the Nets though to start the Cuban/Russian Pimp feud.
maggsmaggs
Bucher thinks LeBron to Cleveland, Bosh sign-and-trade to Miami has legs. WTF? We better get Boozer on the phone pronto...

Real
I still say LeBron stays in Cleveland, but I'm hoping he comes here... but I'm not holding my breath. I just think there's too much on the line, including his reputation nationally (I've already heard Letterman say LeBron isn't a man if he leaves), more money being left behind, and who knows... maybe his conscience will weigh on him to stay because let's face it, if he leaves Cleveland that organization is destroyed. I really think all signs point to him staying there.
maggsmaggs
If LeBron goes back to Cleveland, all I will do is laugh at him. And then cry that the Bulls will probably strikeout in free agency.
