Wooo, looking at his picture so close to mine ..I DIG IT!!! :)

Blackwood is currently headed back to Glendale, AZ. for extended spring training where he will get some well needed AB's in. After that it is unclear at this point where he will end up.

Blackwood to Bristol.

He will be playing most every game. He was told that they want him in that area for when they need him in Kanny or W-S, also that they need him to handle the up and coming pitchers.

Just had a conversation with Luis Sierra of the Dash ...he doesn't seem to think Blackwood will be in Bristol for long either. He said the same thing happened to him last season, he was there for a week, then moved up to Kannapolis.

WE'LL SEE!!!

**FUN FACTS** :D

Favorite food: Spaghetti

Favorite color: Black

Favorite number: 26

Favorite music: Reggae

Blackwood is the middle child and only son to Rori and Martin Blackwood.

His father's middle name is "B".

His mother is a breast cancer survivor.

Why didn't he wear 26 when he was with Winston-Salem? I know they have a #26 jersey.

He didn't get to choose his number there.

I don't see why not. There's no #26 jersey for Birmingham. There's actually no jerseys with 6's at all for some reason.

I have NO idea ..He is going to be #26 in Bristol, he requested #18 because that's my favorite number, but it was already claimed! :(

OHHH another fact about Chase ...He wasn't drafted, but received a call asking him if he wanted to sign with organization as a free agent, of course he said yes ..they gave him the $1000 bonus he would have received had he been drafted, because they thought he should have been.

That was his signing bonus ..these guys who aren't early-mid round draft picks don't get paid very much at all ..BUT the White Sox do take better care of their players better than other teams. They pay them more, their food in spring training is better..etc.

Pardon me if I missed this, but are you two dating, engaged, or married? Regardless of the answer, I wish the guy the best of luck, and hope you keep posting some of the insider info i've started to see around here from you lately.

Oh, and I guess on topic in the thread, Chase went 1 for 3 last night.

We are engaged!! Thank you, he really appreciates the people who support him, he works really hard. I absolutely will continue to keep posting ..I wouldn't dream of not doing it!!

Yeah ..it should have been 1 for 2, but circumstances surrounding Phegley's health didn't allow it! Chase doesn't mind though ..he's alright with 1 for 3!!
