fathom
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 2, 2010 -> 03:09 AM) It's Ozzie's fault that our hitters make Darren Oliver look like Sandy Koufax. Bad baseball team. Darren Oliver is one of the best relievers in baseball this year.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 1, 2010 -> 10:09 PM) That ws one of the worst strike calls I've ever seen. That was nowhere close to a strike. Maybe Hirschback has a hooker scheduled to arrive in his room at 11.

jenksycat
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 1, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Ozzie is a terrible in game manager. It's seen almost on a nightly basis similar to what has gone on tonight. KW should go first if I had to pick an order, but they both should go. I love that argument. Ozzie cost us this season, clearly not the fact that 7/9 hitters were <.200 for months the starting rotation as a era closer has and defense been subpar. but yeah couple times he didn pitch thorton consecutive game or whatever horrendus made downfall of sox.> Goes back to the same old argument: he wins a WS, but he didn't really do all that much. He has a s*** team and its all his fault. 0% logic

whitesoxfan101
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 1, 2010 -> 10:09 PM) It's Ozzie's fault that our hitters make Darren Oliver look like Sandy Koufax. Bad baseball team. With a 1.65 ERA and 0.95 WHIP, Oliver has made a lot of hitters look bad this year. His age is irrelevant in that regard. Dick Allen
If he's going to call that pitch a strike there is no need to throw anything over the plate.

ThunderBolt
Dead straight fastball to a dead fastball hitter. This is oddly similiar to when we put Brinkey in against Mike Jacobs.

Dick Allen
Why are they throwing strikes when he's calling the pitches 4-12 inches off the outside corner a strike every time?

whitesoxfan101
The Rangers were right in the middle of the AL in offense entering tonight. 9 runs and 19 hits later despite a strike zone as wide as the BP oil spill, and they'll be a little better. Our pitching staff can cure many offensive ills.

My point is how stupid the argument is in the first place: when the team is good, the manager is awesome; when the team is s***, the manager is horrible. Kalapse
We need to get Quentin to the plate with a chance to tie it, he's looked awesome tonight, no doubt with as fast as his bat is getting through the zone he can get around a Feliz fastball.
