Big Irish
Man, day in and day out. All he does is produce. For the rest of the season, tony starts at SS against leftys and Jose starts against rightys.
SweetJfour
There is not a single person on this website that can argue with that, but.......(Insert retarded argument here)

I could live with that really easily.
Wong & Owens
My attempt at a retarded argument would be this--Jose, you dumb bastard, bat left-handed no matter who is pitching. I have no idea why he continues to try right-handed, when he couldn't do any worse sticking with 100% lefty. Until that happens(and is proven to be successful), Tony G. should start vs. southpaws. Molto
Graffanino needs to platoon with Valentin and Alomar against the lefties. you don't want to sit only Valentin against lefties because he has shown the ability to at least walk. you can't sit Alomar strictly against lefties however because of his defense. either way, Graffanino can not play every game. play him 1-2 times a week sporadically and he'll get 1-3 hits every time. play him more than that and he'll slide a bit. I could live with that too if St JosE6 is never allowed to bat right handed. Your comment about Tony G slipping a bit is well said. He may be fated to be one of the bench players ever but not an everyday starter.
SweetJfour
See, that wasn't so bad, not a single retarded argument. Well done!!

SweetJfour
Hey! I made a retarded argument! Did you miss it? I said Retarded argument. You're argument definitely is not retarded, and I agree with what you said. The only problem is JM tells him what side of the plate to bat on, so JM is probably the retarded bastard to which you refer.
greg775
It's easy to say after tonight, but I disagree. Play Jose 80 percent of the time; Graff fills in.
CubKilla
I dont follow any other teams really deep like the sox, but Tony G. has to be one of the best bench players in league, am i wrong? No. I agree with you. Tony is best used off the bench and/or sporadically. I agree with those that say TG should play against LH pitchers unless Jose just gives up batting RH totally. We rip on Jose batting RH and he has 2 HR's from the right side of the plate in less than 2 weeks But..... I know exactly where you all are coming from. YASNY
The way things are going right now, the Tinkerer does not need to tinker with anything. Leave well enough, alone.
