He's been pretty decent hitting there...better than anyone else that's been in that spot yet.

He's hitting .222 there with a .559 OPS.

 

Even when Gordon was sucking real bad, his OPS was still around .600.

Well, his last 2 weeks there he has an OBP over .400

Even then, his OBP is still .300 on the year while hitting second. I don't think he hit second the whole time though, that's probably why.
