Rowand44
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 09:01 PM) Anyone have any more news on this game? I'm on vacation and we are stopping on the way back for this game so if the time gets changed back I'd be able to sleep in a little later. Be prepared to see a new single game strike out record. lostfan
Obviously as a Sox fan I don't want it to happen, but I won't really be mad if Strasburg dominates the Sox... say, he breaks the single-game strikeout record, or no-hits them, something like that. Call it lowered expectations or what have you.
claydude14
WOW. I got tickets to Friday's game already; was just looking forward to getting to see Mark pitch live... now I get to see Strasburg AGAIN! (Saw him in Rochester in May, was filthy good against Jauqe Jones and the Rochester Red Wings).

Controlled Chaos
Phenoms always blow up in their 3rd starts and no I do not have any data to back me up. Sox win 8-
elrockinMT
The Nats have banged around two teams offensively in both the kids wins. He is something special for sure, but if we have a p[itcher who can shut down the Nationals I think we can score a couple runs and maybe win
Getupstretch39
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 02:54 PM) Looks like he will be pitching the 18th, not the the 19th. That was a bit underhanded by the NATS. http://www.nationalsdailynews.com/columnis...-19th&s=rss What a dirty move by the Nats. Been wanting to go to D.C. and planned a trip around this weekend so I could catch the Sox. Bought Saturday tickets over face value ahead of time to see Strasburg's 1st loss. Now since he's pitching Friday, Saturday tickets are available on Craigslist for under face value. What a desperate move by a desperate franchise. I hope I'm part of a riot on Saturday.
