SoxAce
QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 06:53 PM) Isnt he projected in rounds 5-10? If that is the case, he will be our comp pick at the end of the third round. Yes he was. He is pretty damn talented. I wouldn't be pissed at all, unless it was before round 6. Wow.. Whitson picked before some of the other pitchers (and I LOVE Whitson). This draft is getting interesting. fathom
Well, if he wants to play for his dad, then the Braves or Marlins should select him.
BaseballNick
Rumor is Sale wants too much money. He's got a great looking swing though - I'd love to see him at #13.

Quin
Being able to pick from Grandal, Castellanos, Sale, Ranuado, and Wilson would be magical. And all the more frustrating if one isn't a Sox draftee.

You would think I would learn by now. I am going to hold out hope the last two years were any indication that the sox brass has changed their ways and are drafting more high upside guys. I loved the Beckham pick, and seriously warmed up to Mitchell (who I knew fathom called and liked)

Cincy likely to take Wimmers. We couldn't have asked for this to go better, now is the time to pay up! It'll be interesting with them if they don't f*** up. Personally, I think they should take Cox, but they might be thinking of next year's crop of position players too. I heard they wanted Colon, and if he left, probably a pitcher.
