Palehosefan
Will be interesting to see if he gains any mph when the Sox put on 20-25 pounds on his frame.

SoxAce
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 06:16 PM) I'll be honest, I never watched video of him as I thought there was no chance he'd be around. I did, but only because I usually do with the top 20 prospects (mostly the ones I've never seen before) I just can't believe how much our org. has really did a complete 180 from the Wilder days. Beckham, Mitchell and now Sale. Hopefully we can avoid the TJ (ala Nevin Griffith) however. Edited June 8, 2010 by SoxAce

Beckham, Mitchell and not only did we take a LHP with potential, but he is a HIGH SCHOOLER! Hopefully we can avoid the TJ (ala Nevin Griffith) however. Thats Josh Sale. WhiteSoxfan1986
Have to hand it to the Sox. They've come a long way from the Lance Broadway/Kyle McCulloch days. At least there is something to be excited for in this terrible season.

Palehosefan
As an FYI, Sale was ranked as the #4 player in the draft by BaseballAmerica. That's even higher than Beckham was ranked coming out.
harfman77
Dont know much about him, from the scouting reports I found quick, sounds a lot like Aaron Poreda with more movement and less velocity.

I thought the same thing. From reading comments, I should be extremely happy, but his motion makes me think of Mike MacDougal.

Ozzie Ball
QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ Jun 8, 2010 -> 01:22 AM) Dont know much about him, from the scouting reports I found quick, sounds a lot like Aaron Poreda with more movement and less velocity. He's not at all. The only similarity is that they're both lefties. Sale has great command of 3 pitches.
