This guy's like 2005 Bobby Jenks, but a starter...

Just struck out Milledge on two great curveballs.

I disagree.

I think he is a complete Kerry Wood clone. From that hard breaker to his fastball.

And I think he'll have arm troubles just like Kerry did as well.

You got played.

I dunno, J4L....In my league, CC is like the 7th rated hitter in the league thus far, well ahead of Zimmerman.

Categories are OBP, SBs, HRs, RBIs, Runs and Total Bases.

Plus I have Longoria and Billy Butler at my other two CI positions...

His mechanics are slightly better than Wood's.

Kerry threw across his body, Strasburg is more over the top.

Both do have an inverted W in their delivery though.

That makes it a little more defensible. But still, in a 1 for 1 it's no contest. Steals and saves are something you really shouldn't pay for. Took me a couple years to learn that.

His hard breaker looks just like Kerry's did, and I assume the pressure put on the elbow is the same as well. I foresee a Dr Andrews visit in his future.

Well, traditionally I stack my roster with all-around players like Braun, Kemp, Zobrist, Utley, Markakis, etc, that do everything...that way you don't have to worry about stolen bases...but Crawford was too much to resist this year, with his RBI production, his run scoring, and his stolen bases...

I'll trade him after this season for a more all-around OF.

That's what I thought, but his curve is more of a slurve than Jenks' was when he first came up.

He has two curves, the power curve, which is what Bobby throws, and a 12-6. He also has a slurve too.
