why go for morneau when you can go for pujols?

Seriously, where is Morneau going when his contract is up? The Twins won't be able to resign him with Mauer's contract taking up so much money, will they? Plus, eventually they're going to wanna move Mauer to first base, right?

2014 is a LONG ways away, many, many, many things will change by then. Morneau will be 33.

That doesn't even make any f***ing sense. If they sign Morneau and already have Teixeira at 1B then where the f*** are they going to play Pujols? Can't move him back to 3B because geriatric A-Rod is still being paid $25M to patrol the hot corner and LF is home to Carl Crawford can't slide him over with Andrew McCutchen and Andre Ethier fully entrenched in the other 2 outfield spots. The 2014 Yankees have no room for an old scrub like Morneau.

I just figured he'd be their pinch hitter and occasional spot starter for Pujols. Kind of like how Kotsay helps us out.

That will probably be what Evan Longoria's role for them will be...
