Balta1701
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 10:11 PM) If we get no hit ... I will be speechless. I mean WTF. We'd won four in a row and the pop up syndrome returns against the Cubs. Wow. 6 groundouts, 14 flyouts so far this game for the Sox. Isn't lilly a ground ball pitcher? chw42
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) 6 groundouts, 14 flyouts so far this game for the Sox. Isn't lilly a ground ball pitcher? He's a heavy fly ball pitcher.
Real
QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) If Lilly does no hit the Sox, should it really even count? I mean it's like no hitting the Newark Bears. How does a hitting coach feel after being no hit? And here comes even more rain. This is really gonna suck. I'm switching it to Lakers Celtics. dunno, let's ask the first place TB Rays how their hitting coach feels after being perfecto'd twice the last two years
Kalapse
A whole lot went wrong on that pitchout and it still worked.

Soxbadger
This is why you have a Mark Kotsay, to break up no hitters.
southsideirish71
Who gives a crap about cub fans gloating over no hitting a terrible hitting club. I had some ass hat on Fridays game screaming every time a single was hit. Goooo CUBBBIES, thats ITS thats our RALLY, WOOOOo. Good god, they cheer a flyout like its a home run. They have no clue. I am more pissed off that our pitcher pitched his ass off and he is on the downside of our offense being bad.
Rowand44
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 08:12 PM) I don't think anyone would be surprised...we've been saying we'll be no hit all season. Just imagine what Stras is going to do to us next weekend...

Harry Chappas
I was watching this game at friends house and just got home and all I have to say is that the approach that this team is taking, they deserve to be no hit. Jason Nix is terrrible. He is on this team to hit this type of pitcher. Quentin and Beckham are not far behind. All they need to do sit back and take him to RF not overswing on the 87 MPH high fastball and pop up either 50 feet or 280 feet.
WilliamTell
They didn't even go to commercials between innings. Please get a hit White Sox!
