Hawks had been rumored to be picking up a D-man, and with the possible injury to Hendry last night, that makes it even more likely. It sucks that they gave up a point to Phoenix last night, but the win was huge, especially with Nashville/Calgary/Anaheim all winning. Fun game to be at, definitely starting to feel more like a playoff-like atmosphere towards the end. Keep up the hot streak and steal two points in Minny tonight. Competes very hard, good character guy, so he will be a good depth defenseman for the Hawks. Again the fifth and sixth defenseman for Chicago only has to play 10 to 15 minutes a game. The Hawks also looked to be desperate with the injury to Hendry. However, I also do agree with the guys above me that he doesn't really seem to fit with what the needs are.
