southsider2k5
According to Chuck Garfein, that is the 4th straight time we have beaten a rookie starter we saw for the first time.

greg775
Great win. I take credit for Beckham's performance (joke). My second baseman got hurt in fantasy and I had to pick one up and it was either Beckham or some other non producers and I picked up Beckham. Get hot now, Gordon! Bobby Jenks. Believe in him. He is still the real deal.

Kalapse
Beckham's 9th multi-hit game in 56 starts this season, he has no 3 hit games. That's 16% of his starts. Last season Beckham had 28 multi-hit games in 102 starts. That's 27% of his starts. 8 of those multi-hit games were of the 3 hit variety. ThunderBolt
I liked what we saw from Beckham today. He got two bizzare hits and then he flew out after making great contact. it was a nice bit of evolution and hopefully an indicator of future results. Of course, the Twins and Tigers had to win too. chw42
I think we need to start making Freddy Garcia Dos Equis ads, advertising him as the most sweaty/fortunate man in the world.
Steve9347
We were all backwards thinking Gordon needed to be sent down to get his confidence back... the NL is basically the Minor Leagues anyway. I think nothing would be cooler than for Gordon to go like 2-3 with a BB on Friday night.
Harry Chappas
Pirates were 14-15 at home before last night.......although they are 5-1 against the cubs I believe at home
