caulfield12
Well, it's hard to pull Floyd with under 90 pitches before he had even surrendered a run...but I guess you can second-guess Ozzie a bit. Thornton has been slumping, though. Willingham and Dunn are their two best hitters, let's just hope to escape with the tie. Okay, got out of it. fathom
QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 01:50 AM) Dunn is a beast nothing wrong with that Gavin has pitched his a** off tonight Yep, it's a shame that a terrible pitch call cost him the win. They didn't throw Dunn a single offspeed pitch that inning. Why do we always throw Branyan, Dunn, and Thome low fastballs?
chw42
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 07:51 PM) Yep, it's a shame that a terrible pitch call cost him the win. They didn't throw Dunn a single offspeed pitch that inning. Why do we always throw Branyan, Dunn, and Thome low fastballs? He'll still get the win.....we'll push at least one across this inning. caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 06:50 PM) That whole AB is pathetic in so many ways. Gavin is making a ton of mistakes on the mound right now. They called that pitch and location in that count with that defensive set-up??? Either Rios got crossed up or he (Gavin) really missed on the location? Edited June 19, 2010 by caulfield12

chw42
Unless Ozzie can make Gavin hit a home run, he shouldn't be hitting this inning.
