Kyyle23
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 12:46 AM) Got back from a concert and was greeted by a Sox win. Good deal. Did you enjoy the Jonas brothers?
Princess Dye
QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 02:37 AM) We are 21-7 in games that Jenks has pitched in, in any situation.. for comparisons sake, the Yankees are 20-4 in games that Rivera has pitched in.. My post about you throwing some stat at us was more of a joke than anything, didn't mean for you to think I think you are a Jenks hater or anything.. I understand he deserves criticism for how poorly he looked at the start of the season.. The argument for most people isnt that Jenks can't be good. There's more a suspicion that he stops throwing the curve for long stretches of time without telling anyone his reasoning. True, he could be informing Coop/Ozzie outside our knowledge....but there seems to be a scenario where he keeps going out there, but restricts his curve throwing to 1) pace himself? 2) preserve his health for financial gain this offseason? 3)who knows But since we dont get the info, we begin wondering about these possibilities. DBAHO
Certainly made things a little more interesting since interleague play. I'm not going to get my hopes up about this team though unless we can take care of things in our division, which we certainly haven't done so far. But obviously when the starters pitch well, this team has a chance to do well even if the offense can't score consistently.

It is a feel pitch and he does not have time to gain a fell for it. If he is warming up and does not have it, he can work to get it like a starter. elrockinMT
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 19, 2010 -> 03:03 AM) Everybody had this down as a loss. Well, everybody was wrong. Who is everybody? I said I thought we had a real good chance because the Sox have real pitchers and all we had to do is stay close and get to their bullpen. WE DID! Gavin Floyd was just as good as Strasburg. The kid is exceptional but so are our guys Edited June 19, 2010 by elrockinMT

The difference between 2007 and 2009, 2004 2002 2001, all those really mediocre years where we just hang around enough to feel like it was a good season... was interleague play. 2007 we were AWFUL in interleague. If you take that out we were just another KW white sox team. If you wanna have a good season you cannot f*** up your vacation in may-june known as interleague
