This is easily a 90 win team in the NL.

This next series against Atlanta will be big.

If we can win this series, Kenny should really think about getting some pieces.

Atlanta is 18-21 on the road. If we continue pitching the ball, we can take the series.

Best 5th starter in baseball?

Team record by starter:

Garcia 9-4

Danks 7-6

Buehrle 7-7

Peavy 7-7

Floyd 4-10

34-34. Who would have thunk it 12 days ago when the Sox were 24-33? Awesome.

I think the team just hits better when Freddy's on the mound.

Garcia's getting 7.15 runs per start. Highest of any of our starters and 20th in all of baseball.

Maybe Garcia is just facing a lot of the other team's 4th-5th starters.

Holy [Ozzie Word].

That is a high number.

Those teams were 2 of the best in baseball. The Pirates and Nats are 2 of the worst.

Yes, but wins are wins and 10 out of the last 11 and two sweeps is pretty good in my book. We are back in this things as fas as I am concerned

Scott Baker, Dana Eveland, Doug Fister, Andy Pettitte, Brian Bannister, Kevin Slowey, Rick Porcello, Josh Johnson, David Price, Colby Lewis, Rick Porcello, Brad Lincoln, John Lannan.

Sox lost when he faced Baker, Eveland, Pettitte, and Johnson.

This should come as no surprise:

Run Support

Garcia 7.15

Peavy 6.34

Buehrle 6.11

Danks 5.82

Floyd 5.31

It actually is a surprise. Not the order of pitchers but the runs per game. I figured it would range from the low 3s to the high 3s.
