iamshack
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 22, 2010 -> 08:07 PM) These aren't numbers, it's based on having seen the majority of his big league starts with my own eyes. He's an amazing young talent and there's a reason why the Braves had him as an untouchable when the Tex deal was being negotiated. And he's also capable of being shellacked by a team with some good f***ing mojo going right now...

ThunderBolt
Is it bad that I sometimes forget that Andruw Jones is on this time? I'm not complaining about his playing time, he sucks, but wow he's done a disappearing act.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jun 22, 2010 -> 06:10 PM) Well, it's good to see Gordon hit the ball hard to the right side. Nyger Morgan ran one of his shots down the other day just a little less shallow than the one Dayan hit.
whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 22, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) Mark Kotsay is the worst base runner in Sox history. Podsednik made outs on the basepaths something like 12% of the time he reached base last year.

witesoxfan
The White Sox have raised Tommy Hanson's ERA by a full half run tonight. It's like the difference between pitching in the NL and the AL! He is also at 59 pitches after 3.

caulfield12
Fun fact: Danks has a 2.6 ERA if you erase his one bad start where he gave up 8 runs Braves are on a 34-14 stretch of play White Sox are known around the league as an "middle of the plate in, mistake hitting" team...fwiw, that's why hitters like Pierre, AJ, Vizquel, Beckham and Viciedo are needed, because their natural strokes are to the opposite field or RCF. Even Quentin, when he's going good, can rip it to RCF. Rios is a spray hitter. Maybe all that will start to influence Alexei a bit, seems like he's getting locked in more and more. Nice bonehead running Kotsay, didn't look for Cox, ended up getting thrown out by 15 feet. Edited June 23, 2010 by caulfield12

It's definitely his go to pitch.
