He was an OK last man on the roster.

Why not hate daily on this year's last man on the roster, Lilly?

Wise did not deserve the booing. Wise was a decent last man on the roster. He had speed and made the best catch you will ever see to save a perfect game.

He was a very bad last man on the roster who made a phenomenal catch.

Again, I make all of these points as a logical exercise. I know Guillen is not going to make that move. It is a moot point. But I do not see any legitimate arguments as to why it is not a better option in the effort to win this game than keeping Kotsay in there.

I stand by all my responses. And no manager in baseball would make that move for the reasons I wrote. They just wouldn't. It just doesn't happen and will never happen.

11 in a row retired by JFP. THat's our usual 10+ retired streak.

This streak has been so much fun it's unbelievable. You just hope it never stops even though you know eventually it will.

There are several players on this team who I feel aren't hated as much as Wise, which is unfair.

Randy, Liney, Lilly all are hated some, sure, but not like Wise. The hatred for Wise is insane. He was a last man on a roster who actually contributed some things to the team, including one of the best moments in franchise history.

At least one of the top 10 or 20.

We're 9 outs away from the first 10-game winning streak in two decades and you've for some reason brought up Wise?
