If he was coming out of the bullpen, I think he would have already made 1 or 2 appearances. Plus, W-S is shorthanded on starting pitchers. Their Monday starter is still TBA. With Drew O'Neil and Josh Phegley being added to the roster, that gives them 25 active players. I'm not sure who else but Sale would be in line to start Monday. Possibly Leroy Hunt, he hasn't pitched in two weeks. Of course it could be a 3 inning start perhaps if it's Sale, with Hunt piggy backing him for 3 or 4 innings, or vice versa. I don't ever buy a plan for a player laid out by the organization. I'm still waiting for Retherford to catch and play all over the field.
