Jordan4life_2007
Posted this in the gamethread... It's going to be hilarious (in a bad way) when Girardi ends up taking Teixeira over PK for the all-star team. Can't get on the fans for being flaming f***ing idiots when the managers are just as pathetic.

bjm676
I think there is an extra player on the AS roster this year, plus there is a DH. But no way in hell does Teshera, or however you spell it, make it over PK.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Jun 26, 2010 -> 09:01 PM) I think there is an extra player on the AS roster this year, plus there is a DH. But no way in hell does Teshera, or however you spell it, make it over PK. Miguel Cabrera, Justin Morneau, Kevin Youlkilis are all locks. Billy Butler will probably be there due to the despicable rule of requiring at least one player from each team (although Soria could be that guy). One of Vlad/Ortiz will be there. I can easily see PK being left off and Tex making the team.

soxfan3530
Sox catch the Tigers! Btw just saw the Tigers highlights. That ring up to end the game was brutal! But i will take it!! Let's get a sweep tomorrow. I will be in attendance in KC looking for 13 in a row hopefully!

He's going to get hot sometime, but there's only 3 weeks until the ASG and only two weeks until they reveal the rosters. I highly doubt that his future hot streak will get him into a respectable batting average for the average Joe to actually accept him as an all-star. chw42
Was it over when the Astros were 15-30? I remember saying that in one of those "I give up" threads. I then went on to say that it was pretty much over. Man I wish I took that last line back, I'd be looking that much smarter.

flavum
When the Sox were 24-33, they had 30 games until the All-Star break, and you would have loved it if they went 20-10, to get to 44-43 at the break. Now they have 14 games until the break, and they BETTER NOT go 5-9 until the break to be 44-43. I'm greedy. Let's go 11-3 and have 50 wins and be in first place at the break. Disco72
Not that I like starting like crap, but it's a lot of fun chasing someone else down for a change while the other team checks the scoreboard and wonders "are the Sox EVER gonna lose?"
