There's clearly an umpire conspiracy against the Sox. Funny thing is, if that same pitch were ever thrown to a White Sox and the umpire called it a strike, Hawk would say it was clearly inside.

 

If you want to see a bad call, check out Cedarstrom's calling Damon out to end the game with a 3-2 count and the bases loaded in a one run game. It was almost a pitch out.

fathom mentioned this during game 2 of the World Series when Garner brought in Qualls to face Konerko - you don't bring a reliever into a game when he has no room for error whatsoever. It's going to take hella stones for Santos to get out of this mess.
