Well this is looking bleak. Not looking forward to Soria in the 9th.

Kinda wonder why we re-signed Mark Kotsay if we're not going to use him when he's actually needed.

Thing is, he should have been batting for Andruw to start that inning.

Because Guillen doesn't pinch hit for HOF hitters players.

Sad thing is, all I hear about around here is how improved he is this year.

I need a SoxTalk board for Royals fans.

He has improved, but he's still on pace for a -11, which is better than -20, that's what he had last year.

In Alexei's last 26 games, he's put up a .316/.353/.474/.827 line. Why would you consistently waste solid production at the 8th spot when no one is getting on in front of him, and no one is driving him in?

The fact that he has a .353 OBP in that time makes me think he should hit second.

Good point, but they are talking about his all-around game, not just his defense.

His WAR right now is 0.

Plus, don't you have to improve after posting a -20. There's nowhere to go but up, right?

Because Guillen can't manage a lineup at all?

One of the advantages of being single...no romantic comedies and two different cougars in the same day, my man...

BTW, what do you think Dayton Moore would want for David DeJesus?
